Elderwood's Jakota by Autobahn

Some alpacas represent a breeding program. Jaquay came to represent Elderwood Farms. OLWA Quasar’s JaQuay quickly became a staple among our Farm Favorites, not because of what she produced, but simply because of who she is. With her unmistakable true black face, easygoing personality, and way with people, Jaquay became one of the animals we could count on whenever it was time to introduce someone new to alpacas. Over the years, she has welcomed visitors, attended events, posed for more photos than we could ever count, and become a familiar face throughout the Elderwood brand. She has appeared on our banners, business cards, and marketing materials — while serving as one of our favorite four-legged brand ambassadors in real life. Today, Jaquay is a non-breeding member of the herd, but her job around here may be even more important. She represents the side of Elderwood that happens beyond the show ring and breeding barn: the connections these animals create with people. After all these years, she isn’t just recognizable as an Elderwood alpaca. Jaquay is part of the Elderwood brand.
