Elderwood’s Peak Performance brings together our 33-banner-winning herdsire, Irish Meadows’ Crescendo, and champion-producing foundation female Elderwood’s Virginia Lee. Bred here at Elderwood Farms in Millington, Tennessee, this white Huacaya male has shown encouraging conformation and fleece traits from an early age. Peak offers an opportunity to bring together Crescendo’s genetics and a maternal line whose results we have followed across multiple generations.
His sire, Crescendo, is a Snowmass Matrix son with seven Judge’s Choice awards and a record of producing champions. Crescendo’s dam, Crescent Moon’s Elizario’s Princess, earned Judge’s Choice, a 2017 National Championship, and the 2021 National Produce of Dam award, adding another accomplished producer to Peak’s paternal line.
Peak’s dam, known here as Ginny, earned Elderwood’s first championship banner and has since won Produce of Dam twice. Peak is a maternal half brother to ELWD’s Wynter Is Coming, a Judge’s Choice winner with six championship banners, and Elderwood’s Rumor Has It, an eight-banner winner with Best Bred & Owned and Most Uniform Grade 1 recognition. Their maternal granddam, MFI & TNT Peruvian Festa, earned six banners herself. Festa, Ginny, and Ginny’s champion daughters represent three generations of success in this maternal line.

For breeders interested in Crescendo genetics backed by a maternal line that has produced champions through different pairings, Peak is a young male worth considering. He is offered as an unproven prospect, with his own production potential still to be evaluated as he matures. Contact us to discuss Peak’s development and how he could fit your breeding goals.
